The partnership with the French national cancer institute (INCa)
What ASIP Santé does | 18 Jun 2010
Presented on 9 December 2009 at the national meeting of the regional oncology networks (RRCs), the partnership agreement that formalizes the collaboration between ASIP Santé and the INCa is focused on the shared oncology record (DCC).
Part of the electronic health record (DMP) and shared health information systems relaunch programme, the DCC, a DMP service, is one of ASIP Santé's key projects for 2010.For the INCa, the DCC meets one of the objectives of the 2009/2013 cancer plan: "to develop the sharing of medical data between healthcare professionals" (clause 18.3 of the cancer plan).
Facing the same challenges, ASIP Santé and the INCa have specified the principles that will govern their cooperation.
The INCa, tasked with coordinating and supporting the RRCs, is to define the professional needs associated with the DCC – the documents to be shared, content and usage.
Based on these needs, ASIP Santé will project manage the DCC system and host the health data in the DCC, an integral part of the DMP.
Finally, as the representative of the RRCs, the INCa will also monitor the rollout and use of the DCC.
The entire project will be set out in a framework document in 2010.
